Australian Curriculum and Singapore maths Level 3 comparison

Australian Curriculum and Singapore maths Level 3 comparison

Here we compare Singapore maths with the Australian Curriculum (AC) at level 3. At this level, you will notice more significant progress in the presentation and covering of concepts. Both Singapore maths programs are ahead of the AC regarding multiplication and division, as well as geometry.

The AC teaches giving change when dealing with money which is not included at this stage of Singapore maths.

For elaboration on the AC for level 3, go here.

If a concept is not in the table, remember to check the previous and subsequent levels. Any gaps can be taught by yourself – just remember to include the jargon in your plan or record keeping. You can utilise living books for maths to teach any concepts not covered or that you would like to cover.
