Preschool & Grade K/Prep

So you are going to begin homeschooling your little one next year and you need some guidance and encouragement?

Grades 1 & 2

The first year of teaching your child to read can be intense, yet probably one of the most delightful years you will remember.

Grade 3

Once you’ve finished teaching phonics and your child is well on the way with reading you will notice at around age 7-8 your child will start to devour books.

Grade 4

Grade 5

This age is when many children turn a corner and start being more independent with their learning.

Grade 6

If your child has already done a good amount of science, they may want to try Apologia’s highschool General Science.

Year 7

Many people are daunted all over again when it comes to teaching highschool at home. If you’ve come this far, don’t give up now.

Year 8

Your year 8 plan can include Learning Language Arts Through Literature Gray and Apologia Physical Science plus a variety of other highschool resources.
