Education Reformation are creators of original homeschool curriculum. Our first priority was to develop a Charlotte Mason style program for Australians incorporating English and Australian History. Language Lessons from Australian History was developed over two rounds of teaching Australian History to my own children. Starting out about nine years ago as a reading schedule and scant plan of a mixture of English lessons and research projects, the curriculum was born. A homeschooling friend asked me about what I do for Australian History and I handed over my notes. Coming back later, she said 'You should publish this!', and so here it is.
The best way to complete multiple tasks is to dovetail them, or kill two birds with one stone as the saying goes. In Language Lessons from Australian History you have 160 lessons in English while you study Australian History. It makes perfect sense. And you can read all your best Australian literature as you go. Reading good books to your children curled up on the couch, assigning individual lessons and knowing exactly where all your children are with them is what this program is all about.
